DAB radio specialist Roberts has announced new additions to its Wi-Fi-based STREAM range.
The two new models offer access to over 10,000 internet radio stations from around the world and the ability to stream music from a PC.
The STREAM 83i (£150) offers internet radio via Wi-Fi plus DAB and FM with RDS in a portable retro-styled high gloss piano black package.
Twin speakers deliver stereo sound backed by a subwoofer at the bottom of the acoustically tuned wooden cabinet. It has multiple alarm and snooze timers as well as 15 station presets, a Listen Again function, Last.fm compatibility, USB socket and a 3.5mm aux socket for connecting to digital music player such as the iPod.
The STREAM Time (£120) meanwhile is designed specifically as a bedside clock radio and offers Wi-Fi internet radio and FM with RDS. It features a large LCD clock display and offers ten station presets, Listen Again, and dual alarms for weekday and weekend programming, plus the ability to choose between radio and buzzer for your alarms.
Also announced for next year are the Sound 63i and COLOURstream sound systems, both of which will include Wi-Fi and iPod docks.
