Jamo i300 : Danish design for iPod
The iPod’s unadorned design has found a new partner in Jamo’s i300 system…
Danish style and design have been acclaimed since ages, and this system is part of such tradition of beautifully designed devices. Well, the association of Steve’s wonder with the Viking production has a chic look.

The i300 is a stand-alone powered subwoofer/satellite speaker system about which Jamo claims that it meets your expectations. It comprises an iPod dock station, an active sub, two satellite speakers, and finally a long-range radio remote that provides control of the iPod and the tunes from another room.
In addition, a rear panel input allows you to connect your computer, DVD player or a game console. Finally, the sub has also an input to plug another source. As a result, not only dock-enabled iPods can be played, since you can hook up 1st and 2nd generation iPods through the auxiliary input.
The satellites are protected against magnetism; they carry a 76mm/3in co-axial driver. They can be table-top or wall mounted. The sub is a 6.5in bass driver equipped with a 150 Watt digital amplifier (class D) delivering 2x75 Watts to the satellites.
The whole system has a gloss white finish and again, looks great.
Priced £300, it could be an option for X-Mas.
