CES 2006: And what about Sharp? Sort of Catalan minimalist booth architecture but Wow!
Sharp... So is apparently their mind, and their design consultant sober, unadorned approach likewise. They did NOT need a Nimitz aircraft carrier-sized stand. They came smooth, probably very self-conscious that their market share in the LCD market is far from... minimalist. They installed a small chapel of good taste, providing visitors with the cooling sensation that they left the chaos for the sea of tranquillity... What a quiet dissonance among the cacophony.

Sure, they came with some ground breaking stuff, like their LCD that they claim has a stunning 1000000:1 contrast ratio or their already famed Dual-View that allows to watch two different pictures or videos depending on the viewing angle. We'll come back to these devices soon.
Thank you Sharp anyway. Escaping from the CES 2006 crowd into... Las Vegas isn't exactly entering a Zen temple.
