EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association), that brings together the 5O top European Hi-fi, Home Cinema, Car Radio and Navigation magazines, has made the Pioneer AVIC-HD1BT number one in-car Sat Nav and Entertainment system in Europe for 2006-2007.

A quick reminder…The AVIC-HD1BT is a Double DIN car sat nav system that takes up two radio slots in your car. Once you’ve set it up the world is at your fingertips with the immense Touch Panel becoming your only interface. You can also choose voice-command for safer driving.

The novelty lies in the fact that you can actually copy up to 10 Go of music onto the hard disk drive. No need to pile the cds for 160 hours of non-stop music! Back seaters are not left behind either as the AVIC-HD1BT also includes a dvd player and TNT tuner. And of course you get your iPod controller.

But it woudn’t be the best European satellite-navigation, entertainment and communication system this year without the Bluetooth phone hands free kit and a 4 x 50 Watt amp.
