SIM2 Grand Cinema HT5000 : 3-Chip 1080p DLP Projector shown at CEDIA
If you want to get the top end Home Theater installation, here’s one of the most upmarket projectors you can get. Sim2 will be rolling them out at the CEDIA Expo in Denver starting today. So look out for the Grand Cinema HT5000.
Maurizio Cini, Sim2 Multimedia CEO, introduced it as the first ever three-chip DLP projector on the market to reach a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. In other words, it gives 1080p Full HD without altering the signal.
Its 300-watt lamp, driven by Texas Instrument’s DarkChip3 gives it a 5000:1 contrast ratio. The picture is processed by the already acclaimed DigiOptic Image Processor by Sim2.
We can’t give an exact pricing but if you bear in mind that the HT3000 will be selling at 15000$, you can get a rough idea. We’ll know maybe later when we do our vide clip of their stand here at CEDIA US.
