Sony SS-AR1 : when nature boosts high-tech!
Sony introduces, in Japan, its new upmarket floor-standing speaker : the SS-AR1. The maple wood cabinet is praised by speaker manufacturers for resistance to vibrations. No wonder it weighs a hefty 60 kilos for a metre high! Still looks nice and sleek though, doesn’t it?
This three-way speaker is equipped with a 25mm silk dome tweeter, two 20cm boomers and the famous 14cm Scanspeak.
Price in Japan is announced at around 6000€.
