Here are two new babies by Toshiba that’ll enable you to transfer all your old home movies from VHS to DVD or even straight onto your hard drive.

The RD-XV45 is the first three-in-one ever released by Toshiba. It allows you to store no less than 280 hours of video on its 160 Go hard drive. It offers multiple recording options: the hard drive content can be copied onto the hard drive and VHS can be archived onto either DVD or hard drive. The VCR is equipped with the TimeSlip function that allows you to view what you are recording while you are recording.

RD-XV45

The *RD-XS25 is the “classic” DVD recorder with a hard drive of equal capacity to the RD-XV45: *280 hours, 160 Go. It’s equipped with a *YUV output for improved video quality.

RD-XS25

Both products take on DivX and MP3.
