CEDIA EXPO in London continues impressive growth
Held again at ExCeL London, attendance at the CEDIA UK EXPO 2007, totaled 7,399 which represents a strong 21% increase over the prior year. The visitor figure also included a higher number of international visitors, an increase to 1,184, comprising 16% of the total and representing 54 countries.
CEDIA UK EXPO 2007 expanded in size by 15%, occupying 7,000m², with 140 companies taking part. TV crews from BBC News 24, Associated Press and others gave the event expanded visibility.
The big difference between CEDIA UK EXPO 2007 and other trade shows is the extensive training sessions, and this year there were a total of over 170 hours of CEDIA training. Delegates filled 1837 training session places over the program’s four day duration.
Trade suppliers provided 37 dedicated sessions included : A+K, AMX, ARCAM, Asheridge Communications, AWE Europe, Crestron, Dynalite Europe, Genelec, Habitech, Kaleidescape, Lutron, Naim Audio, Owl Visual, Pulse Marketing, Sencore, Smart-e, Tenvera, Universal Electronics and Universal Remote Control.
CEDIA UK EXPO 2008
Next year’s CEDIA EXPO will return to ExCeL London. The event is scheduled to run from 23rd to 26th June 2008 (training: 23rd -26th June; exhibition: 24th -26th June).
