Let’s ear it for Omnimount – latest ranges keep rooms clear from home cinema clutter
One of the biggest problems when creating a home cinema system is finding somewhere to put all those darn speakers. As ever OmniMount has a neat, stylish and hardy solution to this particular headache, in the form of its new EAR Series.
The range handily mounts loudspeakers flush to either side of your swish new flatscreen via its EAR-S designs, and below for centre channels thanks to the EAR-C. The latter is also an ideal partner for the profusion of ‘all-in-one’ soundbar designs that are currently flooding the market.
With their low-profile design, EAR-S offers a smart solution for mounting flat panel speakers flush to your screen. Its ideal positioning ensures that sound and video come from the same direction – no matter how you position your screen. The designs are also incredibly strong, with a tolerance of almost 10kg for each side.
EAR is easy to install thanks to a universal mounting system that accommodates nearly every flat panel speaker on the market. It also works with almost every medium and large flat panel screen.
Meanwhile, EAR-C is designed to mount speakers directly below flat panel screens. This can either be a centre channel speaker or a five-channel ‘soundbar’ for an integrated surround system. In addition, it is not necessary to remove the screen to install the speaker mount, so it can be retro-fitted after initial installation.
Prices RRP – EAR-S; £99.99; EAR-C; £69.99
