InFocus New IN80 1080p DLP Home Theatre Projector
Projector manufacturer Infocus have added another 1080p DLP Projector to their impressive line up. The Infocus IN80 is armed with DLP DarkChip technology with BrilliantColor from Texas Instruments, the InFocus IN80 Full HD 1080p projector offers a native 2500:1 contrast ratio (boosted to a maximum of 7500:1 using the iris) that delivers rich blacks and bright whites while preserving all of the subtleties in between. With a video optimised brightness of 1,300 Max ANSI lumens, the IN80 is bright enough to deliver film-standard, D65K colour accuracy in nearly any home theatre on screens up to four metres wide.
The Infocus IN80 has two future-proof HDMI 1.3 inputs (one via M1-DA) with Deep Color support, which can display up to 1.07 billion colours for a perfectly smooth, crystal-clear picture. The projector is ready to use straight out of the box but you can tweak your settings by additional user-friendly features such as automatic colour gamut and black level calibration, digital vertical lens shift and digital keystone correction. For more specific tuning, the IN80 can be customised to individual requirements using the InFocus Colour Gamut Calibrator and ISF Day & Night presets.
The InFocus IN80 comes with a 3 year warranty and 1 year lamp replacement warranty. The Full HD 1080p DLP projector will be available in September 2008 for £1299.00 through specialist home cinema retailers and installers.
