dnp’s Supernova Screen has been named “Product of the Year 2006” by the Confederation of the Danish Industries.

The award was presented on September 26 at the Confederation’s Annual Meeting 2006 – the largest business event in Denmark with more than 1,000 politicians, business executives and opinion leaders as well as international guests.

This product offers unique customer benefits. It combines several new technologies with excellent design, said Chairman of the Confederation, former Minister of Finance Henning Dyremose, when he presented the award to dnp denmarks General Manager Niels Hermansen.
Since 12 years, the Confederation of Danish Industries has singled out a company who has developed an outstanding product or service with global reach. By winning the award in 2006, the Supernova Screen has become a member of an exclusive family of innovative products such as medicine for psoriasis treatment and advanced digital hearing aids.

We are very pleased with this recognition. It is a pat on the back to everyone at dnp who has been involved in the development and production of the Supernova, said Niels Hermansen in his speech of appreciation.
Apart from “Product of the Year” the dnp Supernova Screen has won the Best Buzz Award for Best Screen Technology at InfoComm 05 and 06 as well as an Honoree Award at CES 2006.
