DMi D&M Installation has announced two new DVD players from Denon Professional – the DN-V210 and DN-V310. These players feature a host of high end features and professional AV functionality, principal among these being the inclusion of an High Definition Multimedia Interface for feeding uncompressed HD video signals to an HD flat panel display, projector or HDMI specified AV receiver; a unique feature on a professional installation player.

The DN-V210 and DN-V310 are equipped with all of the standard functions required for CI and professional AV applications. In addition, a number of advanced features extend the operational flexibility and range of potential applications for these players: these include Hide OSD, Change Wallpaper, NSTC/ PAL conversion, and different Auto Play and Repeat modes. The DN-V310 includes a RS-232C serial port for additional control and networking capability.

The Hide OSD function allows for the integration of these units within kiosk terminals, removing unwanted screen displays for video or still playback. Setup of this unique function is operable from front panel keys or via RS-232C control (DN-V310). Change Wallpaper enables display of JPEG images, corporate logos and such like on boot up and when stopping play of video. Auto Play enables automatic playback of media on power up: playback setup configurations are memorised when powering down. Key Lock and IR Remote Lock functions prevent any unintended or unauthorised operation.

The players support playback of DVD, DVD-R/RW, CD and VCD discs, and MP3, JPEG, WMA and DivX (3.11/4.12/5.1) media formats. High precision 96kHz / 24-bit D/A audio signal conversion ensures the reproduction of the full signal-to-noise and dynamic range performance of high sample rate, high resolution media. In addition to the HDMI interface, enabling the digital transmission of uncompressed HD audio and video signals, coaxial and optical digital audio outputs provide for stereo and Dolby Digital and DTS multi-channel audio formats.

These players are specified for operation and integration within a whole range of CI and commercial AV environments, bringing Denon’s legendary video and audio performance to professional installation. They are supplied with 19 inch rackmount kits. Furthermore the DN-V210 and DN-V310 are priced competitively at just £279 and £399 (ex VAT) respectively.
