The European Premiere of DOLBY’S HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE TECHNOLOGIES
Dolby’s will present their new high dynamic range (HDR) Visual technologies, which deliver an outstanding contrast ratio combined with crisp brightness, to deliver picture quality that recreates real-world visual perception of depth, detail and colour.
There will be a full demonstration showcasing Dolby’s HDR technologies in an LCD TV with LED backlight technology and local dimming, compared with an LCD TV with traditional Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps (CCFL).
This demonstration will show how Dolby’s HDR technologies deliver amazing lifelike images with virtually all the natural contrast, vivid colours and true blacks.
This is real-life technology as Dolby and SIM2 plan to unveil a prototype this quarter
