The Denon AVR-3300 will no doubt go down in the books as one of the references in its field for the end of the 20th century. It’s true that no other amplifier has ever had so many functions for the same price. To summarise, let’s say that the AVR-3300 is nothing more than a “small” AVC-A1D. For a recommended retail price of around 1,100 Euros (7,490 FFR), one may ask oneself where the compromise is. On top of this, the “beast” is equipped with the new DSP Analog Devices SHARC 32-bit microprocessor… The AVR3300 decodes both Dolby Digital and DTS formats with extreme precision. You’ll know a lot more once you get to test the machine.
