NAD T770
Description
This presentation is uniquely based on technical spec.’s.
T770 which is a Dolby Surround ProLogic amp./tuner with potential for additional facilities at 12,000 French Francs (approx. 1,826 Euros). Powered at 5 x 70 W, this amplifier, which is becoming a little dated, harbours a really exceptional amplification unit, which almost on its own justifies the somewhat “out of league” price tag of the unit. To give you an idea of its exceptional power and hi-fi qualities, during the 1999 hi-fi show which took place at Porte Maillot, a NAD T770 was connected to a set of five JM Lab Electra 920 column speakers. Note that the 920 is a four way speaker which has a 26 cm woofer, and that it’s the top of the line model from Electra. The room in which the demonstration was taking place measured approx. 150 m2. The results, both on a musical level and as far as power supply to these five speakers was concerned was simply extraordinary
