Building-in and access to the machines: if your room has to undergo some alteration work, take advantage of this time to have a maximum number of cables built in by your electrician. More precisely, he should build in the electric sheathing in which it will subsequently be possible to pass your speaker and video cables. The price of this type of sheathing being relatively negligible, one shouldn’t hesitate to install a maximum to take account of future possible extensions to your system (i.e. a video projector installed in the ceiling). One should, in any case, before doing anything, have a precise idea about the disposition of each element.
