Sherwood introduces the new R-771 receiver (CEDIA EXPO 2006)
Jeffrey Hipps, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Product Planning, introduces the Sherwood Newcastle R-771 receiver. Retailing in the US for $599, this model boasts a long list of features, the most impressive of which is an ability to accurately configure the listening room by sampling test tones with the supplied microphone placed at the listening point. The results of multiple tests are combined by the on-board software which then selects the optimum cross over point per speaker pair.
