Cyrus announce new DVD player, Digital Tuner and AV processor. (What Hifi Stuff Show 2006)
Paul Webb, Sales Manager for Cyrus, tells us about two new DVD players just released. Both with 1080P HD and upscaling, the discmaster 8 retails for £800. The discmaster 8QX is more audiophile orientated with a high quality DAC chipset for CD playback. Also in great demand by customers is a new digital tuner which is now available. This has dual DAB/FM capability, an internal memory which can store up to 30 minutes of broadcast and also SD card input to record broadcasts directly. Paul completes the tour by announcing a new 7.1 AV processor soon to be available which has a 3 channel linear power supply and will be retailing for £700.
