Optima announces the world premier of HD81 and HD70 (CEDIA EXPO 2006)
John Grodem, Senior Product Manager at Optoma, announces the world premier of the flagship HD81, 2 piece projection system. The HD81 is based around the latest TI 1080p chip and has an anamorphic 2.35:1 lens kit which comes with a ceiling mount and installed firmware which automatically sizes the output depending on the input source. The HD81 retails for $7,000 and the lens kit for $4,000. John also announces the world premier of the HD70, the very first HD 720p projector under $1,000.
